  What is the minimum percentage of marks necessary to take admission in subjects combinations where I can take admission?

Bankim Sardar College offers Undergraduate Courses in Honours - 11 subjects and General - 15 subjects under Humanities, Science and Commerce streams

Admission  is  on  merit  at  the  qualifying examinations (H.S. /equivalent  exam) as  per  the  norms  of  the  affiliating  university.

The college follows the criteria of admission as set up by the University.


01.  The process of admission involves counseling by the teachers followed by admission on the basis of merit list.
02. For admission in the general courses college follows a dual policy
 
Merit as reflected in the merit list
Access to marginal students who has lesser chance of getting admission elsewhere

In order to get admission what process do I need to follow?

Step 1. Admission is online
Step 2. For students “not so friendly” with the use of online applications college provides help desk facility
Step 3. Merit list is prepared by using customized software designed and developed by the college in conformity with university rules and reservation policy of the government
Step 4. Merit list is uploaded in the college website and displayed in the college notice board.
Step 5. Successful candidates are communicated through SMS gateway for counseling and admission
Step 6. During the counseling subject combinations are decided on the basis of the merit of the students and students are given admission fees receipt
Step 7. Students deposit fees in bank counter in the college campus and obtain their ID number
Step 8. Prospectus and Digital I card issued to each students after admission
Step 9. Feedback are taken from the students to gauge their expectation

If I take admission how much fees I need to pay?

First time when you are taking admission (July) you will pay Rs 1590 / = of which

Rs 1150/ College Annual Fee (non refundable)
Rs 100/ Library Deposit (refundable)
Rs 150/ Students’ Union Fee
Rs 190/ University Registration Fees

Second time during midyear (Nov / July) you will pay the tuition fees for 12 months  

Tuition Fees (12 months) during Mid Term (Nov / Dec)
