STATUTORY DECLARATION ON RTI ACT



Section 4(1) (b) of RTI Act 2005 covers the statutory declaration of Bankim Sardar College, Tangrakhali, South 24 Parganas. It covers all the rules and regulations which are implemented by the Govt of India, Govt of West Bengal, affiliating Universities (University of Calcutta), and the Governing Body of the college.

The College comes under “Grant in Aid” category and therefore all financial transactions are audited by the Government. The College has different committees to maintain discipline in the campus.

All the committees of the institution are under Statutory Bodies and come under section 4(1) (b) of RTI Act 2005. The applications under the RTI Act along with a postal order/demand draft for Rs10.00 obtained in favour of Principal, Sardar College, may be sent to the Principal or handed over in his office. All information about the college under Section 4(1)(b) of RTI Act 2005 are open for the public and can be obtained by a citizen of India.
